Mobile (transportable) examination unit

  • It involves the development of a complementary community medicine programme alongside the City's successful Help at Home programme.

  • The programme of systematic preventive home health checks involves the regular monitoring of specific patients at home with equipment that the social services of the Municipality (Home Help, Community Medicine Programmes, etc.) will have with them.

  • Tests are performed and data is sent in real time to the Reference Centre for evaluation by medical staff

  • Ιn the backpack of each mobile unit is included:

    • Tablet or Laptop with telecommunication connection (Wi-Fi and/or 4G)
      Digital Medical Equipment with the ability to transmit data directly to the Primary or Secondary Reference Centre via the tablet:

  • Vital signs measurement device (pressure, oxygen, temperature)

  • HKG

  • Spirometer

  • Stethoscope

  • Endoscopic ENT unit (optional)

  • Macroscopic examination camera

  • Portable ultrasound device (optional)​
